"I discovered this gem while on my way to explore Les Cevennes and now make it a destination whenever I am driving to the south of France. Tucked into the back of the main plaza, this lovely restaurant and its large terrace welcome the weary traveler. The chef uses local ingredients to create delicious French country-style dishes.(...)"
"Leni's food is unpretentious, homemade from scratch, with dishes like a cream tarragon chicken or mushrooms sauteed with honey and coriander. She makes her own bread which is divine (fig walnut is my favorite), same with the jams, the pates, etc. I usually stay for a few days, so breakfast with her bread & jams is a great way to start the day.(...) The restaurant has a shaded terrace and a few dining rooms inside (but apart from the winter I try to sit outside). It's really pretty, again like Leni's food, unpretentious and just right."
